Where are you, exactly?

We’re listed on google maps on London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh. Within 30 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will receive a reminder email of your appointment and the address, including an exact google maps pin location. I will also be standing out on the pavement up to 5 minutes before your appointment.

I also work online internationally. Both Gentle Release Therapy and Havening can be received effectively online in the comfort of your own home.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Full payment will be due for appointments forgotten, cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours notice. This is because the time has been reserved for you, and I cannot fill your space at short notice. A late attendance for an appointment will result in a shorter appointment time.

Reminder emails are sent to reduce the chance of you missing your appointment.

Thank you for your understanding.

How many sessions do I need?

This is something we can discuss together, but ultimately it is your decision. Some clients find they benefit best from a series of sessions, each one building on the last, but I will always advise you to listen to your body and see how you feel a couple of days after your appointment.

How long is a massage / reflexology / Gentle Release Therapy session?

Appointments are 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours long.

If you are in a rush, please tell me at the beginning of your appointment. Equally, please understand that if you wish to chat to me about things which are on your mind then your appointment may over-run.

How long is a Havening session?

Sessions are 1.5 hours but please allow up to 2 hours.

We will discuss together what you’d like to change – a feeling, a memory, a phobia, a sadness, a trauma and I will guide you through how to release it in the session. Havening uses light touch and de-links unwanted feelings that have been encoded in the brain, it i is not talking therapy, hypnotherapy or CBT.

Will you only treat the sore area? (Massage)

When we think of our body we sometimes think of it as separate areas. Every cell in our body is connected by a fibrous tissue called Fascia. It surrounds and infuses every muscle, muscle fibre, bone, organ, nerve and blood vessel in our body – from our head to our toes. I will listen to you during the consultation and combine that with my knowledge, experience and the subconscious messages your body may tell me, to give you the best possible treatment. Please feel comfortable to tell me before or during the appointment if there’s an area you’d like me to treat.

I’m really self conscious about my thighs and the cellulite / another self conscious area. Can we please not massage that area?

I completely respect everyone has very self conscious areas of their body.

When I am treating my clients, I only see their muscles. It may sound a little crazy but I really don’t see any of the things you worry about. I love this job because I know how much benefit you will have afterwards from your appointment so I will do my best to respect your concerns while giving you the massage your muscles and mind needs.

During the massage I cover all areas of the body which I’m not working on, under a lovely sheet and luxurious towel(s) so not only do you feel lovely and warm but also happy knowing that your body is covered when I’m not massaging it. I am also able to work over the top of the sheet if you’d rather.

Please let me know during the appointment if you have any worries and we can talk about this. I will do always do my utmost to reassure you.

I'm worried about my weight and/or size

Your comfort is my priority.

The massage couch, without the headrest or side arms, is 195cm long, 70cm wide, and can support up to 273 kg.

The reflexology chair has a wide seat and tall backrest make it ideal for people around 180cm and up to 150 kg.

If I've just got injured, can I see you straight away? (Massage)

The area will be tender, please keep gently moving it but not more than at a comfortable level. After about 3-5 days then yes please come and see me, if I test the area and it’s still inflamed then I won’t be able to work on the area but might be able to work on the area around it.

If you have any question then just drop me a message, Hannah

Why is there a consultation at the beginning of the appointment?

It’s your chance to tell me about your reason for coming for the appointment so I can tailor the session to suit you

I also like to check you don’t have a medical issue I need to be aware of e.g. an allergy or a recent injury.

I also take this time to explain to you what will happen during the session.

What's the difference between sports massage and sports massage and hot stones?

If you have any areas which are struggling to relax then the heat of the stones, combined with some gentle and effective pressure will relax tension in your back, neck and shoulders, or lower body can. The basalt stones are used to warm up the areas, and by tapping the stones together will allow small vibrations to encourage the muscles to fully relax so that the massage is relaxing and gentle all-in-one!

Do your sports massages hurt?

I have to admit that I used to think that sports massages were effective if they were extremely painful. This is definitely NOT how I work, or how I was taught.

Less is more. I believe our nervous system should be happy throughout the appointment.

I work on a pain level of 1-5. #1, being that you can barely feel anything and #5, being that you’re about to leap off the massage couch.

I work between YOUR level 2-3 and will keep checking during your treatment to make sure we stay in your levels.

If I’ve had a sports massage with you before, will it always be the same?

All appointments will have a consultation at the beginning, before the massage. This is so that I can chat to you about your current situation and if anything has changed from before. Last time I might have worked on your shoulders but this time you might want me to pay more attention to your calves so we will talk about that and then start the massage based on what we discuss and your needs.
