3 Ways To Help With Your Sore piriformis

Do you find that sometimes you have a sore lower back, or you have sciatic type of symptoms which has been diagnosed as piriformis syndrome?

The piriformis is a small muscle in your bottom that can give you a lot of aggravation. Simply because of its anatomical position. It’s very closely aligned to the sciatic nerve. Often by stretching it or massaging it, we can actually help alleviate the symptoms of sciatica, and you can do this yourself with this help sheet below.

I had massive issues with my piriformis last summer – we had just moved house and I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor. My back was in agony, I had sciatic nerve type pains shooting from my bottom when I moved sometimes and I really struggled daily.

To get myself back to my normal self, I stored a tennis ball next to my pillow and I used it every morning and evening – I really noticed a difference. It now lives at the top of my bed and is an absolute pain saver for me so I always love to recommend something which works.
