Massaging your lower legs can be done with a tennis ball or a massage ball. I picked up a small massage ball set from Aldi for this video to show you some different options. If you have two tennis balls then place them in a sock and tie a knot in the end – that’ll work in the same way as the double ball from Aldi.
You don’t need to apply so much pressure it brings tears to your eyes. The trick with massage is to make sure that you relax, concentrate on breathing deeply (filling up your whole lung) and patience when you find the knots as they will release in time.
