Follow this video all the way through and then when you get to the end, start it back at the beginning and do the other side. You might want to treat only the side which is aching or causing you pain but it might actually be the other side which is causing the issues, so make sure you do both sides!
You don’t need to apply so much pressure it brings tears to your eyes. The trick with self massage is to make sure that you relax, concentrate on breathing deeply (filling up the whole of your lungs) and patience so that when you find the tender and tight areas, they will release in time.
